Make Existing PowerPoints Accessible

Start here to make existing PowerPoints accessible

Hi! My name is Mina. I have some professional development time and I just found out about the Check Accessibility tool in PowerPoint. It highlighted a bunch of things I can improve in my PowerPoints to make my content more accessible. Join me to work through these issues!

To access the Check Accessibility tool in PowerPoint, move to the Review tab and click Check Accessibility.
If you’re just starting out, learn more about the Check Accessibility tool.

PowerPoint tools and features were designed to create accessible presentations by default. When used as intended, PowerPoint creates presentations that are accessible with no additional steps, hacks, or workarounds required.

Ready to get started? Open up your most frequently used PowerPoint presentation and open the Check Accessibility tool. Look through the results. Select the error below you want to repair first!
