In addition, providing accessible education is part of the Accessible British Columbia Act.<\/a>\r\n\r\nWhen creating content, consider your familiarity with the software you are using. Have you received formal training, or are you relying on old habits? While the latter is often well-intentioned\u2014relying on the assumption that if something isn't broke, don't fix it\u2014inaccessible content is broken. If people can't access and engage with material, they are excluded.\r\n\r\nTo improve accessibility, be open to unlearning patterns and (re)learning tools.\r\n
