Unit 3 Review
- Write the multiplication equation you would use to find the fraction of the whole number. You do not have to calculate the answers.

- There are four boxes of cereal open in the cupboard and each one is [latex]\tfrac{3}{4}[/latex] full. How many full boxes would there be if they were all put together?
- Double a recipe that needs [latex]\tfrac{1}{3}[/latex] tsp of cinnamon.
- Mark is a frequent coffee drinker at the local coffee shop. He has a punch card, and gets a hole punched out each time he buys a coffee. Once he has a card with 14 holes punched out, he gets a free coffee. He keeps losing his card and getting a new one. He has found them all, and he now has 3 cards, each with [latex]\tfrac{2}{3}[/latex] of the holes punched out. Does he have enough holes punched out to get a free coffee?

- The Wrights sold their house for $240 000. The real estate company that helped them sell their house gets [latex]\tfrac{3}{20}[/latex] of this amount. How much money did the Wrights have to pay the real estate company?
- Find the area of the rectangle.
- Each turn of a screw sinks it [latex]\tfrac{1}{2}[/latex] of a centimetre deeper into the wood. Find out how deep the screw is after 7 turns.
- [latex]\tfrac{3}{4}\text{ of }48[/latex] students in the gym are girls. How many girls are in the gym?
