Select\u00a0<strong>English (Canada<\/strong>) or other listed language and click<strong> Confirm.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>At the bottom of the meeting window is the captions window. The captions are not a substitute for proper captioning of videos but may be a useful tool for users when encountering an uncaptioned video. To enable:\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Open\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong> and select\u00a0<strong>Accessibility.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Choose\u00a0<strong>Captions.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Toggle\u00a0<strong>Live captions<\/strong> on.\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Alternatively, press windows key control L<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Use the Settings cog icon on the captions window to move the window around, change language, include (or exclude) microphone audio, and change caption appearance.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nFor more details, read <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/use-live-captions-to-better-understand-audio-b52da59c-14b8-4031-aeeb-f6a47e6055df#bkmk_turnoncaptions\">use live captions to better understand audio<\/a>.\r\n<h2><a id=\"android\"><\/a>Android<\/h2>\r\n<h3>Live Transcribe<\/h3>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Navigate to <strong>Settings <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Accessibility.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select<strong> Installed apps <\/strong>(requires the <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.marvin.talkback&amp;hl=en_CA&amp;gl=US\">Android Accessibility Suite<\/a>).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Choose <strong>Live Transcribe <\/strong>and toggle<strong> Live Transcribe shortcut<\/strong> to <strong>On.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Tap on <strong>Accessibility shortcut.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select <strong>Live Transcribe.<\/strong>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Follow prompts to set permissions.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Dictate your text or use Live Transcribe to see text of conversations.\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Many default apps (Chrome, Play Store) will include a microphone icon in the search box. To enable:\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Navigate to <strong>System Preferences.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select <strong>Keyboard.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select <strong>Dictation<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Select <strong>On <\/strong>radio button.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\nTo dictate text, select a text edit field (such as browser address bar or a document) and click the microphone window or navigate to <strong>Edit<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Start Dictation<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nSpeak slowly and articulate as best you can. Group Transcribe creates a digital space for in-person meetings. To enable:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to <strong>System Preferences.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Keyboard.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Dictation<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>On <\/strong>radio button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To dictate text, select a text edit field (such as browser address bar or a document) and click the microphone window or navigate to <strong>Edit<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Start Dictation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Speak slowly and articulate as best you can. Group Transcribe creates a digital space for in-person meetings.
