Recognition History<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\nDragon retains a history of \u201crecognized utterances\u201d or a list of the recent things users have said that Dragon has recognized. This tool may be useful if user loses work dictated but not saved. However, in the Recognition History window the users speech may be broken up into many different lines and may cause frustration. Remind users to save often.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\nTo open Recognition History:\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \t- On the Dragon toolbar, select Tools <\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t

Recognition History<\/h4>\r\n
\r\n\r\nDragon retains a history of \u201crecognized utterances\u201d or a list of the recent things users have said that Dragon has recognized. This tool may be useful if user loses work dictated but not saved. However, in the Recognition History window the users speech may be broken up into many different lines and may cause frustration. Remind users to save often.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\nTo open Recognition History:\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n- \r\n \t
- On the Dragon toolbar, select Tools <\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
- Select Recognition History... <\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
- Click Save...<\/strong> to save the entire recent history as a plain text file. That file can then be used to recover lost text.<\/li>\r\n \t

Speed vs. Accuracy<\/h4>\r\nOpen\u00a0Tools\u00a0<\/strong>>\u00a0Options\u00a0<\/strong>> Miscellaneous\u00a0<\/b>change the Speed vs. Accuracy<\/strong> slider. This setting increases or decreases the number of words Dragon searches in <\/span>its <\/span>vocabulary as it processes speech<\/span>. <\/span>More<\/span> words examined, the greater the accuracy. However, more examination requires greater computing power.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\r\n
