  • Content: In this section, we will cover the essential theories and principles of effective communication in forestry/natural resources. This includes understanding communication models and the basics of verbal and non-verbal communication. Once we have covered the basics, we will emphasize the importance of understanding your audience, audience analysis, and contexts in communication. This includes studying stakeholder/rightsholder mapping, cultural competency, environmental psychology, and rhetorical appeals to tailor messages effectively.
