This change is also reflected in the company\u2019s budget, where funds have been allocated to cover Indigenous engagement activities, visits to partnered communities and subsidized costs to Indigenous partners for your flagship product, a lightweight insulating glass.\r\n\r\nIndigenous and remote communities are a potential market for your company because your glass has worked well in greenhouses and detached homes. The Indigenous population is the fastest-growing demographic in Canada, so housing and agricultural loads are expected to rise in remote communities across the nation.\u00a0 Office buzz around indigenizing the company has faltered, and little has been done so far to partner with communities, so you have decided to act. You visit the website of a nearby Indigenous community, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.komoks.ca\/\">K\u2019omoks First Nation<\/a> and discover their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.komoks.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/luplibrary\/CCP%20Version%201.0%20March%202014.pdf\">Comprehensive Community Plan<\/a>, which clearly delineates the nation's governance, history, work capacity and goals. You decide to create an engagement strategy to collaborate with K\u2019omoks.\r\n\r\nTake some time before you do the assignment to read through the 9 main goals, found on <a href=\"https:\/\/komoks.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/CCP-Version-1.0-March-2014.pdf\">page 17<\/a> of the CCP.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<h2>Assignment Details<\/h2>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Identify one social, one environmental and one economic collaboration objective (three total) that would mutually benefit K\u2019omoks Nation and Evergreen. Take for example the following social collaboration objective: Encourage greater levels of self-sufficiency and security in food production on the K\u2019omoks First Nation reserve by constructing a community greenhouse.
