Allen Baylosis is a Ph.D. candidate in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice at the University of British Columbia. His research examines how contemporary aesthetic practices facilitate transnational and transformative discourses on queer, racial, cultural, and sexual politics within the Filipinx Canadian diaspora. He holds an MA in Performance Studies (New York University) and a BA in Speech Communication (University of the Philippines Diliman).

Contributors

Anne Olsen is a subject and liaison librarian in the Humanities & Social Sciences department at Koerner Library. She provides library instruction, research support, and collection development for Gender, Race, Sexuality & Social Justice; Creative Writing; English Language & Literatures; Media Studies; and Theatre & Film.

Erin Fields is the Open Education and Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus. She supports open educational resource (OER) development, including student-as-producer models for OER development.

Leila Malkin is the Scholarly Communications Assistant at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus. She provides in-depth technical support and training on Pressbooks, helping faculty, staff, and students create and share open educational resources.

Dr. Isabel Machado is a cultural historian who specializes in the fields of Gender and Sexuality Studies and Festive Studies. She is currently a lecturer at the Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice (GRSJ), and the course instructor for CSIS 450: Topics in Critical Studies in Sexuality.
