Employees in British Columbia cannot be paid on a monthly schedule, whereas that is a suitable pay frequency for Ontario employees.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Safe Working Environment<\/strong> \u2013 It is the responsibility of the employer to provide a safe and healthy working environment to the organization\u2019s employees. This would include providing the necessary safety equipment to perform the work and ensuring employees are adhering to safety regulations.\u00a0 Trade workers have the right to refuse unsafe work without any job repercussions.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Protection from Discrimination and Harassment<\/strong> \u2013 Employees have the right to work in an environment free from discrimination and harassment based on gender, race, religion, age, or other protected characteristics.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Privacy<\/strong> \u2013 Employers are required to protect the personal financial information of employees in accordance with privacy laws and regulations.
