We know that all nouns have a gender (masculine or feminine), but it isn't always easy to know the gender of noun. Most nouns ending with -e <\/strong>indicate a feminine gender, but we cannot rely on that all the time. For example, a noun ending in -isme<\/strong> or -\u00e8me<\/strong> is masculine. Here are some word endings (or morphemes) that will help you recognize a noun's gender. If you remember these, you will almost always know the gender of any other nouns with the same endings:<\/p>\r\n
