For example:<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-109210\">\u2014 Qu'est-ce que tu <strong>fais<\/strong> ce week-end ? (What are you doing this week-end?)\r\n\u2014 Je travaille au restaurant. (I am working at the restaurant.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-109210\">\u2014 Que <strong>fait<\/strong> ton p\u00e8re ? (What does your father do?)\r\n\u2014 Il est ing\u00e9nieur. (He's an engineer.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"lt-human-109210\">Below is a summary of different ways to use faire, followed by a list of common and useful expressions with <strong>faire<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"lt-human-109210\">(b) The verb <strong>faire<\/strong> can be used to talk about the weather. <b> <\/b><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-109210\">\u2014 Quel temps fait-il ? (What's the weather like?)\r\n\u2014 Il fait chaud ! (It's hot!)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"lt-human-109210\">(c) Expressions verbales avec faire. <strong>Faire<\/strong> is said in many expressions that name specific activities like we see in <a title=\"3: Unit\u00e9 3 - La famille\" href=\"https:\/\/human.libretexts.org\/Bookshelves\/Languages\/French\/French_OER_1_(Carrasco_Zahedi_and_Parrish)\/03%3A_Unite_3_-_La_famille\" rel=\"internal\">Unit\u00e9 3<\/a> (<strong>faire une promenade<\/strong>, <strong>faire du camping<\/strong>):<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-109210\">On <strong>fait du ski nautique<\/strong> au lac. (We go water skiing at the lake.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-109210\">Nous <strong>faison la sieste<\/strong> \u00e0 2h.
