(Michelle is less convinced than Madeleine.)<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"box-note\">\r\n<div class=\"mt-section\">\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h3 class=\"box-legend lt-human-118955 editable\"><span class=\"lt-icon-default\">Note<\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p class=\"lt-human-118955\"><strong>Plus<\/strong> (more) and <strong>plus<\/strong> (not any more) are two different words with different pronunciations. The <strong>s<\/strong> in <strong>plus<\/strong> (not anymore) is never pronounced. The s in plus (more) is pronounced like and English <strong>s<\/strong>, but it is pronounced like a <strong>z<\/strong> before a vowel:<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-118955\">J'ai plu<strong>s<\/strong> de fr\u00e8res que toi. Je suis plus-<strong>z<\/strong>-intelligent que toi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p class=\"lt-human-118955\">(c) The adjectives <strong>bon<\/strong> (good) and <strong>mauvais<\/strong> (bad) have irregular comparative forms. Il est de <strong>meilleure<\/strong> qualit\u00e9. (That is the best apartment. It is of better quality.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"mt-indent-1 lt-human-118955\">C'est une <strong>mauvaise<\/strong> chanson. Mais la n\u00f4tre est <strong>pire,\u00a0plus mauvaise<\/strong>. (That's bad song.
