The University of British Columbia's enterprise version of Microsoft 365 Copilot, running on the GPT‑5 chat model, was used to assist in generating LaTex for mathematical and chemical equations (January 2026 - April 2026). The equations were reviewed by the project team to ensure accuracy. The prompt used to generate the equations was as follows: code this equation with mhchem. Add \[ to the beginning of the equation and \] to the end. For subscript use _ instead of brackets.
