Indigenous students and two collaborators and by a Syilx Okanagan advisory supported the Guide’s development. Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies supported the project and provided in-kind support.
Financial support came from the UBC Okanagan ALT-Fund.
The main audience of the textbook are Indigenous students in first-year English courses who are taking Access Studies at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus. Students in second, third and fourth-year courses also find the Guide valuable, interesting and exciting.
