Pressbooks has a built-in Latex plug-in which allows you to create a Latex environment using shortcode. Before you start writing code, you’ll need to select the plug-in by choosing Plugins from the lefthand sidebar and then choosing ‘Activate’ under the WP QuickLaTeX plugin.

Once you’ve activated the plug-in, you can start inserting code anywhere in your document using latex shortcode tags:
