Describe the Installation of Residential Furnaces

If there is a set of blueprints, follow the drawings and specifications for where the unit, grills, registers and duct are located. It is important that if the system has been pre designed that we follow all of those instructions.

For our example, we will assume that the equipment has been sized based off heat loss, but no blueprints are included with the job. A heat loss calculation is always the first step for an installation of HVAC equipment and will be covered later in your training.
