1.1  Length of a Vector

It follows from the Pythagorean formula that the length a of a=a1,a2 satisfies a2=a21+a22.

This is shown in the following image:

Thus we get

a=a21+a22


 

Example: Use the graph of y=g(x) to sketch the graphs of:

y=g(x+2)1

This is different math A=π r2 that I think I know how it should sound.
This equation I can guess at:
x=b±b24ac2a
