When starting out your own business it is important to also identify your companies values.\u00a0 Just as they do personally, your companies values will guide the decisions it makes and the direction it will take.\u00a0 Having a concrete understanding of your companies values will attract customers, investors, and employees.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"indent no-indent\">If your company has a definitive list of core values, you have a set of guiding principles that will help:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li class=\"no-indent\">\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">Guide your hiring practice<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">Attract customers<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">Unite your employees<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">Direct future goals and vision<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">In the beginning, you will find that your personal values and your company values could be the same thing, you and your company are one.\u00a0 As you grow you will find that your company values will grow, evolve and change as well.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"no-indent\">Make no mistake, your personal values and company values will always be closely related but the company will begin to take a life of its own.\u00a0 There will be others involved in the company, in the day to day decisions, and in its health.\u00a0 There will come a time when you take your business back to the drawing board and find a way to align it with your values.\u00a0 This may mean making some small changes, but it also may mean making some drastic changes.\u00a0 Either
