Positive Interdependence<\/h4>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

Members believe they are linked together; they cannot succeed unless the other members of the group succeed (and vice versa).\r\n\r\nThey sink or swim together.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Individual Accountability<\/h4>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

The performance of each individual member is assessed and the results given back to the group and the individual<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Group Processing<\/h4>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

At the end of its working period, the group processes its functioning by answering two questions:\r\n

  • What did each member do that was helpful for the group?<\/li>\r\n \t
  • What can each member do to make the group work better?<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Skills in Communication<\/h4>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

Necessary for effective group functioning.\r\n\r\nMembers must have \u2013 and use \u2013 the needed leadership, decision-making, trust-building, communication, and conflict-management skills.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
