4 4 Piece Transition
- From the shop drawing, create an end view of the fitting
- In the end view, label each piece with the amount of “drop” it has
- Calculate the actual length of each piece based off the drop and finished length, using Pythagoras
- Using the end view, imagine from the inside of the fitting, unfolding all the piece, so to look at the inside of them. This can be done as a sketch or just imagining it.
- Calculate the blank size for each piece and draw them
- Mark each end with it’s opening sizes
- Complete the patterns by connecting each end
