It can be primary or secondary to underlying rheumatologic problem.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n<h1>How is it treated?<\/h1>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nPrevention is through keeping the hands and feet warm with gloves, socks and appropriate footwear. Keeping the core body warm is also helpful. For those with significant symptoms, vasodilators such as nifedipine can be helpful.\r\n<div>\r\n<h1>What does it look like?<\/h1>\r\nAffected fingertips and toes turn white and\/or blue in the cold and rewarm with erythema.
