Available OTC or can be prescribed.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nTolnaftate: Effective against most dermatophytes, no activity against candida. Available OTC.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nNystatin: Active against yeast (candida) but not dermatophyte infections. Prescription only.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nCiclopirox olamine: Broad spectrum activity against dermatophytes and yeast, as well as both Gm+ and Gm- bacteria. Also has anti-inflammatory properties. Available as Rx only as a cream, shampoo, or nail lacquer.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nEfinaconazole: Active against dermatophytes and candida.
