(a) La formation du pluriel<\/h3>\nAs in English, the plural is generally formed by adding an\u00a0s<\/strong> to the end of the singular form of the noun: \u00e9tudiant<\/strong> is singular and \u00e9tudiants<\/span><\/strong> is plural.\n\nNote, however, that the s<\/strong> is not pronounced. In spoken language, the article is often the only indication that a noun is singular or plural.\n
