We can start to take some short-cuts in our drawing. Instead of drawing a full plan view, we will use profiles. You can always go back to drawing the full plan view!<\/div>\r\n

  1. Draw a full front [pb_glossary id=\"528\"]elevation view[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> and end elevation view (right side). Notice that the tee does not go passed centre of the pipe, it never will. Because of that, we can delete that portion of the drawing.\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
  2. Draw [pb_glossary id=\"533\"]profiles[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> on the tee in both views and divide into 6 equal parts (see Divide a Circle Into 12 Equal Parts<\/a>). Include all labeling. Keep in mind that the labeling will rotate 90\u00b0 with the view.\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
  3. Draw in the [pb_glossary id=\"527\"]element lines[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> from the profile divisions.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
  4. Where the element lines hit the pipe in the end elevation view, project them [pb_glossary id=\"508\"]horizontally[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> into the front view.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
  5. Following the labeling, draw in the [pb_glossary id=\"530\"]miter[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> line in the front view.\"\"<\/li>\r\n \t
  6. Draw the tee [pb_glossary id=\"534\"]stretch-out[\/pb_glossary]<\/strong> and divide into 12 equal parts (see Divide a Line Using a Ruler on an Angle<\/a>). Label the stretch-out<\/strong> to match the elevation views<\/strong>.\"\"<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t
