A\u00a0license<\/span>\u00a0stipulates the conditions under which your data, or other content you own the copyright for, is being made available.<\/h3>\r\nCreative Commons describes their licenses as a \u201cstandardized way to grant the public permission to use their creative work under copyright law. From the reuser\u2019s perspective, the presence of a Creative Commons license on a copyrighted work answers the question, \u2018What can I do with this work?\u2019\u201d (n.d.). Licenses are non-revocable, meaning you cannot make something available under a license and then take away the permissions to use it.\r\n
