Importing is taking some or all of the content from one course and transferring it into another.\n\nProtecting intellectual property is very important at Selkirk College, so there are <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">only 2 specific cases where you will be allowed to import:<\/span>\n<ol>\n \t<li>When you are listed as the \u201cTeacher\u201d in the participant list of both the course you want to transfer content from, and the course you want to add content to.<\/li>\n \t<li>The course owner, or \u201cTeacher\u201d, has emailed lmssupport@selkirk.ca permission that allows us to make the import for you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Importing content<\/h3>\n<ol>\n \t<li>Go into the course you would like to import into.\u00a0 In the top menu, select <strong>More<\/strong> and then select<strong> Course Reuse<\/strong>.\u00a0 <img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-53\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.bccampus.ca\/selkirkcollegemoodlefacultyguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2189\/2022\/05\/step1_course-reuse.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"996\" height=\"660\"><\/li>\n \t<li>If the course you wish to import does not show on the list, scroll down until you see the search text box. The search text box is located below the text \u201c<em>There are too many results, enter a more specific search\u201d. <\/em>Enter the course short name into the text box and click <strong>Search<\/strong>.<\/li>\n \t<li>Select the course you wish to import and click <strong>Continue. <\/strong>In the example below, CourseX-Fall2022 is selected.<strong><strong><img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-54\" src=\"https:\/\/pressbooks.bccampus.ca\/selkirkcollegemoodlefacultyguide\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2189\/2024\/03\/step2_course-reuse.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1097\" height=\"662\"><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n \t<li>You will be presented with 2 options: You can click <strong>Jump to final step <\/strong>if you want to import everything\/all elements <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">OR <\/span>You can click <strong>Next<\/strong> and you will be taken to a page that presents a list of all the elements of the course you are importing.
