But mostly, I want to thank him for the gift of his enthusiasm for thinking about student assessment and what it means. I will never not question what a grade means or doesn't mean and ask important questions about what a student might be capable of, regardless of their marks.\r\n\r\nI would also like to thank my co-reader, Gail Crockford. Gail is a true innovator in the world of both healthcare and education. Her passion for teaching is infectious and I learned so much from our work together in how she both supported me, but encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly fortunate to live, work, and play in a land that provides for myself, family, friends and community.
