You will ask and answer the <strong>What<\/strong> and <strong>Why<\/strong> of your goal.\r\n\r\n<strong>Measurable:<\/strong> You will identify criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of each goal you set. This will be the definition of <strong>How<\/strong> you will attain your goal.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>How will you know when the result that you want has been achieved?<\/li>\r\n \t<li>How will you verify your achievement\/performance of this goal?<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Attainable:<\/strong> Is it possible for you to achieve your desired goal? Can you see a path to your accomplishment? You are the <strong>Who<\/strong> in this goal setting process. It is your positive attitude that will allow you to draw on your current strengths and develop new ones as you meet your goal.\r\n\r\n<strong>Relevant:<\/strong> Realistic goals must represent an objective toward which you are willing to work and which are relevant to you. You need to identify <strong>Where<\/strong> this goal will take you. A goal can be both high and realistic; you are the only one who can decide just how high your goal should be. Just be sure that each of your goals represents substantial progress.\r\n\r\n<strong>Time Bound:<\/strong> You need to create a sense of personal urgency by setting times for each step along the way.
