In short, relevant, well-designed visual images gain and hold the audience\u2019s attention, enhance their understanding of complex information, and provide a structure to keep you on track.\r\n\r\nFor planning and designing slide presentations, therefore, Dr. Mike Alley, an engineering professor at Penn State University, specifically identifies graphics as more important than text when using PowerPoint. Alley offers an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.assertion-evidence.org\/tutorial.html\"><span style=\"color: #0070c0\">Assertion-Evidence template<\/span><\/a>, asserting that PowerPoint functions best as a visual platform, with textual content \u2013 words \u2013 being best reserved for the talk itself.
