\r\n\r\nThe CTLT will retain copies of courses at https:\/\/moodle.unbc.ca<\/span> for 2 years.\r\n\r\nIf you require long term storage of your course backups beyond 2 years,\u00a0 you will need to export these and retain your own copies for future use.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nAll UNBC faculty, staff, and students have 1 TB of storage with M365 Onedrive <\/span>https:\/\/onedrive.live.com\/<\/a>.\u00a0 The CTLT suggests using UNBC Onedrive for long term storage of course backups.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nTo create your own backups for long term storage follow these steps:\r\n

  1. Go to the More Menu item as shown below:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n2. Select Course Reuse from the More Menu Item as shown below:\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n3. Select Backup<\/strong> from the Dropdown menu on the next Moodle screen as shown in the next image:\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n4. From the Backup<\/strong> settings options that appear, deselect \"Enrolled Users<\/strong>\" and click Next <\/strong>at the bottom of the screen.\r\n\r\n5. On the next screen, deselect Announcements and click Next<\/strong> at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom, then click Next<\/strong> again.\r\n\r\n6. On the next screen scroll to the bottom and click Perform Backup.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n7. Once the Backup is complete on the following screen select Continue.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n8. You will see a list of all the courses you have backed up to date with an .MBZ<\/strong> extension.\u00a0 Click Download<\/strong> to download the latest file. You can download the latest one as they are sorted by the date and time the Backup was performed.\r\n\r\n9.
