moodle.unbc.ca
https://moodle.unbc.ca is UNBC’s learning management system.
This is the platform instructors share course resources, accept online assignment submissions, deliver online tests, and conduct other such online course-related activities.
Every course at UNBC has a section automatically created through integrations with the UNBC Office of the Registrar.
Instructors often reuse content between semesters by importing content from previous offerings. In such cases, instructors work with the CTLT to ensure necessary edits and revisions are made after import of past course content.
In other cases, instructors start with an empty space and need to build out their course resources.
As outlined in UNBC’s learning management system retention policy, the CTLT will retain copies of courses at https://moodle.unbc.ca for 2 years only
It is the responsibility of a course instructor to retain backups of their course content. That is detailed in An Instructor’s Guide to Teaching and Learning With Technology @UNBC https://pressbooks.bccampus.ca/unbc/chapter/creating-a-backup-of-your-course/
The CTLT has a series of videos detailing aspects of https://moodle.unbc.ca, but instructional designers at the CTLT can assist you directly with any questions or needs in https://moodle.unbc.ca. Don’t hesitate to drop us a line at ctlt@unbc.ca if we can assist you with course needs.
