3 Fall Season Information

Fall regular season will start the 1st week of September and run until mid-November.

Island Playoffs will start the weekend following the last game of the regular season (highest seeded team as home field advantage for playoffs).

Island championship will be the following weekend for the VICFA Cup.

Playoff format will be as follows:

• Top 4 will play off for VICFA Cup 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3
• Winners of round 1 to play the following weekend at neutral field

Provincial Championship

The Island Champions will represent VICFA at Provincial Championships. In the Junior Bantam and Peewee Divisions, the Island Champion will have the choice to play in either the 9 or 12 man championships. The Island runner-up will be given the option to play in remaining division (9 or 12 man) not chosen by the Island Champion. If the runner up chooses not to participate, the 3rd place team will be given the option, then 4th. This will continue until a team agrees to play in the remaining championship division.

Dates will be set by BCPFA and any information will be provided to the VICFA members. Please familiarize yourself with the BCPFA Handbook as some things are different than VICFA League play.

Island Championship weekend will be determined by the dates set for by the BCPFA for Provincial Championships. Provincial playoffs will be the weekend following the Island Championship game this game will be played in accordance to the BCPFA rotating league schedule.
