LaTeX is a math markup language that is used to create automatically formatted documents and mathematical and scientific expressions.

Without LaTeX

5 × 7 = 35

4a − 1 = 15

¾ + 1/8 = 7/8

∫^π/2₀ 2πx cos x dx = 1

With LaTeX

[latex]n=1[/latex]

[latex]\begin{align} 5\times7&=35 \\ \\ 4a-1&=15 \\ \\ \dfrac{3}{4}+\dfrac{1}{8}&=\dfrac{7}{8} \\ \\ \int_{0}^{\dfrac{\pi}{2}} 2\pi x \cos x \ dx&=1 \end{align}[/latex]
