How to Use this Material

Most of the information in Chemistry Review Parts I and II should be simply, as the title says, review. This material is a fuller treatment of the necessarily shorter review given in class. The purpose of this material is to provide: 

• A refresher on the chemical principle of equilibrium and applications relevant to hydrometallurgy.
• Worked examples of the types of chemical calculations needed in hydrometallurgy.
• Where appropriate, explanations of chemical principles and calculation methods.
• A source of information and data.

It is not expected that everything in this package be read. Rather, if you need help on a particular topic, it can be found in these pages. Finally, more detail is presented on some subjects than is needed for this course. This is provided as a resource to those who might be interested.
