Midterm Exam and Rubric

Take some time to review your marketing plan and how far you have taken your business from an idea to a well thought out plan. Your marketing plan is nearly complete and would be an excellent addition to a full business plan if you choose to pursue this idea.

Upon reflection, you will likely have been able to see some changes to your plan after considering your plan and learning more about marketing. This midterm will allow you to consider the feedback given to you in your marks with the rubrics and make the changes to your marketing plan.

Resources: Computer, Internet access.

Technical specifications:

Review the feedback from your instructor for your assignments and consider what changes you would make now. Make adjustments from your marketing plan and keep track of the changes. Submit a change document of the changes you have made.

The change document should be broken down into sections that match the completed pages in the online marketing plan. For instance, you should have a section of your document for each of these sections:

  • Strategic Focus and plan
  • Situation Analysis
  • Market-Product Focus
  • Marketing Program
  • Organization

Each section should consist of two parts, reflection and screenshots. The reflection should include what you chose to include and what you will be making changes to. If there are no changes required, you should write about why you believe your section is still correct. This should happen only if you received full marks and your business idea hasn’t changed.

The screenshot section should include before and after screenshots of your online webpage before and after the changes showing clearly you have made the improvements.
