This report, commissioned by the City of Prince George, provides background information concerning past development efforts, current constraints and information on the Revitalization Tax Exemption Program (RTE) itself. The report’s findings, which were considered unfavourable by Mayor and Council, conclude that the RTE program would be insufficient to attract new investment in downtown Prince George, although it may aid in redevelopment of existing buildings.
