• This is a study to understand the features of spoken languages such as distinct sounds, words, accent, grammar etc.
• I will ask you general questions about your background and experiences of living in Canada.
• Our conversation will be audiotaped (or videotaped) parts of which I will transcribe later.
• Your responses will remain confidential and any part of the recorded conversation that may have the potential of identifying you will be removed from the transcript.

Your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw anytime you wish.
