Throughout this course there were reflective activities designed to get you thinking about how the content and practices presented in the modules would apply to your own project or sample scenarios.
The modules covered aspects of the research data lifecycle, from planning, through active phases of research, to longer term deposit and storage. In this final activity, you will bring all of that knowledge together to create a data management plan (DMP) for your project.
Your plan should cover the lifecycle of research data as depicted below:
Remember that a DMP is a living document. Once you create it, you can return to it and update it as needed. The following video was created by the Digital Research Alliance of Canada. It provides an overview of what a DMP is.
