Introduction

The Graduate Student Conference is an annual one-day conference that promotes scholarship, research, and collegiality among graduate students by highlighting and sharing graduate academic work on contemporary issues in intercultural or international communication. It is a platform for creative and critical discussion and engagement where students participate in dissemination of their research in multiple formats. Students are invited to submit abstracts for papers or posters of completed research projects. This year’s theme is Communication for change.
The Conference in 2023 took place in-person on April 28th on Royal Roads University’s campus.
