2 Design priniciples

Design principles  guide the course creator’s decisions as they begin to build the course.  Design principles are strategies that articulate needs and insights into design directives. They help in making design decisions.  If you are presented with multiple options to a problem, you can use design principles to determine which solution is the most appropriate.

Writing good design principles can be difficult but in the end, they are worth it.  You may find yourself refining and re-writing your initial set until you find that they are workable.  You may even find that they need refining as you begin the process of the course design. It is important that a designer remains flexible and able to apply an agile mindset when starting to design, use and re-work these important principles.
