10 Draft Blog Post Assignment

Blog Post: Draft

Your first draft of your blog post is due this week, and does not have any weight on your final grade. One of your group members must email the project to your instructor(s). This draft is meant to get you started early so that when the final assignment is due, you will have already received feedback to make it the best possible final version.

Prepare a draft blog post on your research topic (the same as your annotated bibliography). Done in your group of 3-4 students. You can use any media you find that you think will help your audience better understand the significance of your chosen research problem. You must cite the sources for all ideas, media, and resources you use. Your Instructors will provide the platform for the blog posts. Supports learning outcomes 6-7. Assessment will focus on the submitted work itself: the group collaboration aspect of this assignment will be assessed under “Participation and Collaboration”.

Key Information:

  • This is a group project (3-4 students per group) – submit one word document per group
  • Include the following:
    • Your title and research question
    • Include all names of group members
    • Your draft main message
    • 3 supporting points
  • You can use bullet points or headings to start to outline your blog post
  • Your choice of citation style (but keep it consistent)

Marking Rubric:

This assignment has no weight, and will not be graded. Instead, you will receive feedback that will help you create the final version.
