Comment on “Three day job”

Bob: I read your story an hour or so ago, and I must admit I was impressed.

I knew you were a fine writer, but I did not know this included writing

fiction. I found the story to be fully developed: sensitive, perceptive, in

touch with feelings, rich in sensory detail, written without evident strain

or pretension, in clear, graceful language. I see the story finding its

place in a novel. It’s memorable.
