4 Gutter Miter

  1. Layout an end (front) view and a plan (top) view of the gutter. Like orthographic projection, the views must be vertical of each other.

  1. Draw a miter line at the required angle.

  1. Label the end view at each point.

  1. Make sure all the element lines are projected from the end view into the miter line

  1. To the right of the plan view, draw the stretch-out of the gutter, including all element lines and labeling.

  1. Where the element lines cross the miter line in the plan view, project the lines horizontally into the stretch-out.

  1. Where each projected horizontal line crosses the corresponding vertical element line of the stretch-out, circle the cross point.

  1. Joint the points on the pattern to complete the pattern.
