Finding Relevant OER

Although you may use popular search engines such as Google to locate relevant OER, it is much easier to search within a dedicated OER repository. You should begin by searching within the following repositories, which contain only open textbooks:

• BCcampus
• Open Textbook Library

Important: As you find relevant OER be sure to note its specific URL along with its Creative Commons license.

Next, broaden your search by looking within  the following open courseware repositories/directories:

• Open Education Consortium
• MIT OCW
• OER Commons
• Skills Commons
• Commonwealth of Learning
