Discussion Questions

  1. How has climate change impacted your community or you personally? It may be helpful here to reflect on activities that you partake in that have become more difficult to engage in over time.
  2. Reflect on recent climate change and ecosystem disruption events (i.e., mudslides, forest fires, etc.) within either a local or global context. How have these events led to social disruption, population displacement, and economic decline?
  3.  Is your community actively pursuing public awareness and engagement in regards to climate change? If so, what does their model look like? If not, what should it look like?
