Chapter 6: Behavioural Determinants of Climate Action and Commitment to Collective Change

As anthropogenic activities have accelerated the Earth’s changing climate, it is our responsibility to understand the underlying factors that govern these climate-destructive behaviours and devise interventions that will encourage the collective adoption of sustainable practices. This chapter explores these themes, providing key lessons from a plurality of perspectives.
