This module has introduced many concepts, all of which will be unpacked further and applied to real-work scenarios and case studies as the course unfolds. While described in separate sections, each concept complements the other and forms a strong foundation for developing an engagement and dialogue practice that is adapted and relevant to the work of climate adaptation.

Like the elements in these lecture notes, the readings for this module are selected to offer foundational concepts that will be explored in more depth and application over the next seven weeks. You are encouraged to think about common themes among them, as well as ways in which they might differ and, of course, what they offer your practice of engagement and dialogue for climate adaptation.
