Module 6: Conclusion

In Summary

This module has incorporated key concepts from Module Three, which provided a matrix for identifying who to engage with in a potential partnership, and from Module Four, which focused on dialogue and the benefits of bringing voices together from across a range of perspectives and worldviews. It also offers approaches to complement the work discussed in Module Five, which focused on organizational change and mainstreaming climate adaptation into systems. Looking ahead, many of the practices that support effective and meaningful partnerships across disciplines, sectors and communities are also essential for authentic and lasting community engagement, which will be covered in Module Seven.

At this point, it is likely that you are seeing patterns and themes and beginning to build your own approaches for the work that are most relevant to you. Consider reviewing past modules, as we look ahead to the final phases of the course, to pull forward key insights to apply in the going forward.
