In this section we will look at aspects of both the traditional Ainu culture and lifestyle, as well as the contemporary situation. Ainu people of today are living a modern lifestyle, but honouring their traditions and promoting their Indigenous culture as well, both in Hokkaido and in metropolitan areas.
