Model Dialogues
In these model dialogues, learners practise three frequent communication tasks: confirming existence and availability with cha/chaina/chan/chainan, expressing possession with saṅga/sita, and asking “how many?” with kati + classifier (especially kati waṭā for objects and kati janā for people). Learners should also notice verb agreement: cha/chaina with singular or mass nouns, and chan/chainan with plural nouns.
In the Classroom
Anil and Maya arrive early and quickly check who is present and what is available in the classroom before the lesson begins.
